How do you go about convincing an overworked economist that using social media is a good idea?

This was a question that was posed to me and I would be interested in receiving opinions on the matter. Thanks!

I studied how it could help them out =], for example, it might be a nice break from all the work they have to do. Or a nice change. Or, perhaps you could use something like the network and communicate with new people to work for / with. Or to organize their current form they are more likely to appreciate and notice. Or, you could convince them that since they are working hard and boring, it's time to spread out and do something 'cool' so that people are more likely to enjoy your company =] I which, of course, could benefit in the workplace because people think you're a better person and better work with them and in their personal lives, because they can make better friends: P

The use of social media to practice your doctor

Nobody likes to see the doctor, but when the doctor in question My friend is Thomas, they almost want to make an exception. Thomas and I are old friends and could not meet a nice boy. We have gone from being in an early BBQ not too long ago we finished, as we often do, on top of self-promotion, what you can do for you, you should not, and how the Internet has changed everything.

"Lucky", I said, not without a little envy. "I mean, people will always have what you need and when they are sick, they will come directly to your door. It's not like you do not worry about all patients, no? "

Thomas laughed at me that people so you need to laugh, because otherwise we might want to strangle. During the next half hour until hot and grill the sausages being grilled to perfection, I had a serious conversation about what the doctors he has to do to survive. Thomas has a small private practice, if you do not have the advantage of working with a large hospital, it gives you a high level of attention personal cares about his patients and really make you feel better, but I hear that this is not necessarily sufficient.

"We must really think about using social media for your health practice these days, "said Thomas." There really is no other solution. When you take into account the fact that people are increasingly turning to the Internet to tell them where to go and what to do when they get sick, you see you must make sure that you can find. "

So it was quite a site? I took Thomas with a friend of mine who is a design websites, and wanted to ensure that it was worth the money he spent.

"A website is essential," he admitted, "But it is far from sufficient. When people start looking for what to do if you are sick you can not even access Google first. When using social media like Facebook or MySpace, you stand there in a way that they are familiar. They know what they looking for when they look at your page and how to get the information they need.

"Besides, he said, taking a sip of her drink, "they can search based on location, and if they find out that I'm just on the road or simply a period of five minutes by car, there is much more likely to be interested in keeping me healthy. "

All this has been very rewarding for me, and I admit that the use of social media for your medical practice is not something I thought of all. It seems it is never too early or late to do some work in this regard, make sure you take the time to devote some energy that!

Does anyone have advice or ideas on how to use social media to improve my SEO?

Social media will run the Internet very soon. Do not think an effective method with immediate results, such as engine traffic free research is given freely in the network. Only the nature of online activity. I've been online for over a year and know, and it is my impression. you get advice, but only general ideas. You should research to obtain information and if you can get lucky. I suggest you do some research if you do not want to spend money. and what I mean research is not asking people, but watching streaming Web videos. because social media is still new things that will be very expensive to access the secret social media and technology. So good luck.
