Why there is no return on investment in social media

Have you been able to measure the ROI of your marketing campaigns targeted social media? Perhaps the participation statistics that support the strengthening of the sales funnel but I mean the conversion is the direct relationship between activity Media and sales. Right? Well let me ask you this question – what they gave you your chance fans / followers / Community / subscribers / users to deal with you?

If your goal is to sell products or services to a key performance indicator is the unit sold or Income should include a process within your social media campaign that pushes its audience to buy. Seems obvious, right? An approach to selection mixing and thus lay a merely tactical direct sales targets and actions make a real strategy.

Imagine if you have entered a mall that was built specifically for triple the amount of time that could pass purchase. I like being there immersed in the experience and research more and more reasons to buy the more you stay – but there is a cash register on the site. You finally give and decide that the return to the old shopping center to make a purchase. If one takes the trouble.

If we do not find in the media ROI social, ask yourself if your goals or strategy is simply the idea of social welfare.

How can I measure the ROI of social media marketing?

I'm trying to convince my boss that we need, however, that wants to be able to track the performance / turnover generated. How do I sell? lol

Good luck. You can use a kind of code promotional use only through the media, and record all sales made with that, or can ask every client how they heard of you, and if people start saying "facebook" or "twitter" that will look good. If you sell online, it is easier measure you can use testing to see where traffic is coming and the traffic turns into sales or inquiries.
