I'm working for a nonprofit organization and the creation of a twitter and facebook account is vital for an online presence, and a website. What is the best way to do this? I know there are tons of pages with fewer than 30 members and 5 counts of Twitter followers … I do not want that to happen to me. How I can avoid this and get people to follow, like, and subscribe? thanks.

Whats the best way to build a community online?

TopMyBlog.com is a new social media sharing site that I developed that strives to connect people who interested in creating digital media with integrity. I’ve done an awful lot of link building to increase web presence and visibility, but for the life of me I cannot get people to interact with the site(commenting, ranking, etc.) What am I missing? and what can I do to get people involved with the site?
