Could you block access to twitter violate the First Amendment?

Since Twitter is an application of social media designed to give people a place to express, blocking access is a violation of the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States? I guess this also apply to other social media sites like Facebook and MySpace. The context I am specifically interested in is employers blocking access to social media sites. Please cite any precedence if possible. I am not interested in explanations of why social media practices is blocked in the workplace. I know the law. Just a couple of responses have even touched the subject. I am looking for a legal explanation, not a list of practical reason why the media office is locked.

The first amendment protects us from government interference, the keyword is governmental, if you work for a private employer, yes that may limit or deny access to Twitter. Since it is not the "government" that denies access, no violation of first amendment rights. Even if you are a government employee, twitter can be blocked at work.
